Firle Camp Location

Firle Estate, Heighton St,

Firle, East Sussex

Be warned! These are country post codes, so not neccessarily pin-point accurate

We are off Heighton Street

Once you turn into Heighton st, you will pass two large barns on your left (one housing Motorline Garage). Go a further 300 yds and on the left will be a pair of field gates and a track. The camping meadow is there.

If you get lost, please do not knock on anyone’s door…. Ring us!

There will be local signs to help you find your way.

From West

From Lewes, keep on the A27 passing the “Firle Village” sign, and take the second road turning on the right (about 1 mile). It is just after a wooden bus stop and before “Middle Farm” and when you see that, you need to be turning right!, If you pass Middle Farm on your left, you will need to turn around.

From Eastbourne, when you pass Middle farm on your right, Heighton St is the next turning on the left (250 yds)

In Heighton Street, proceed for about 1/2 mile and you will see a left turn. It will be signposted Firle Camp, but it is immediately after the Archery Club (Green outbuildings & an open area with well mown grass). Having turned left onto the track (through double gates), the entrance to the camping meadow is 30 yds on the right.

Bits & Bobs
Opening Times

The gates of the campsite open at 9am and close at 9pm. Late arrivals are possible, but visitors must ring to let us know

There is a camp fire on every pitch. Wood and kindling are available on site and we ask that people buy their wood through us. Bags of logs and large bags of kindling are £6 each or  6 for £30

We do not allow playing music on any of our sites. We are very happy with banter around the fire, but we will not tolerate shouting, screaming or gratuitous noise. If that happens, or if anyone’s behaviour affects the enjoyment of others,  then we will not hesitate to ask any person or group to leave…no matter how many times they may have stayed! (it hasn’t happened yet, and we would like to keep it that way….)
